We hired Chef Mike's team for our intimate wedding of 40 people at a private property on Longboat Key, plus a drop off dinner and taco + marg party the following day. It's hard for me to narrow down why it was a complete joy to work with them, but I will try! They are true professionals, both in the orchestration of a beautiful event, and the delivery of an unbelievable food and drink experience. I can be somewhat of a perfectionist, and from day 1 I was at ease working with them because they installed such a great sense of confidence.
The highlights include:
An entire team of transparent, kind, hardworking people. The pricing and details were always very clear and their responsiveness was unmatched. Even my family commented on how fun and kind the bartender team was!
The food and drinks way exceeded our expectations. The experience truly felt like we were at a world class restaurant vs. standard wedding food. It was important that we were able to deliver an upscale food and bev experience to our closest family and friends, and it was 110% achieved. I received so many unprompted messages afterwards with people reliving how great the food was (in addition to amazing appetizers, our dinner consisted of: shrimp cocktail and lambchop, caeser salad, NY strip/snapper and a variety of sides). Lastly their cocktails are amazing! Their mojitos and margaritas were far better than any we experienced while dining at restaurants throughout the week.
They are logistical wizards. I loved that every interaction I had with them put me at ease that they would be execute without a hitch, problem solve and create magic!
We can't wait to hire them again for an amazing private dining experience! True professionals that also happen to be kind, fun people!
