The Catering market is busy in Sarasota and Manatee county. We service Anna Maria, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, Rotunda, Boca Grande, Little Gasprilla Island, Venice, Bird Key, Port Charlotte, Northport, osprey, Nokomis, Lakewood ranch, Bradenton, Palmetto and all of Sarasota county. We stay busy. I started this business 5 years ago and even thru the covid-19 pandemic, we managed not only to survive but thrive. We have grown immensely from working out of my home (allegedly) to 3 different professional commercial kitchens including your culinary place, finally on to our own spot. We have been here a year now and its simply too much for me to handle alone. all the private chef dinners, weddings, banquets and cocktail parties are too much for 1 person and a small staff to handle. The facility itself located at 1909 northgate Blvd. is a lot unto itself. We also work with other people here in our kitchen like Greek Triangles Inc that sells amazing spanakopita's at the local sarasota farmers market and Lakewood ranch market, as well as Simons Coffee House.
I've hired a great staff to help! I needed it! We now have a wonderful up and coming kitchen manager named Noah Fallacaro and our new Catering Director named JoAnn Powell. We also have a great utility person named Diane Jackson. She is amazing helping to glue this whole place together, (literally!). I am so grateful to have these dedicated members of the Chef Mike Team.

There is a double edged sword however. Having more staff means having more payroll to pay. We are busy and can sustain ourselves but to derive the same amount of income, we have to scale up! That way we can serve more people, become better at our craft and contribute more to the Sarasota community. We have Summer camp going on also with a scholarship program!
We are working on partnerships with local vacation rental properties like Siesta Key Luxury Rentals, Private Jet facilities like Ross Aviation, Medical reps, and many more to try to get the word out! If you would like to partner with us, Let us know!
Also, to be a better and bigger part of the community, we have started donating a portion of our proceeds to First Step Of Sarasota. If were not giving back, what are we really doing? I am also annocing that 100% of the profits from our Salt & Pepper will benefit
First Step! I am myself a proud client of First step and the helped (in a very big way) Save My life. I am forever grateful for them. Its my cause to help other recovering people in our community.
All in all, things are going well. We have help, purpose, and vision. I love our community and to be a part of it! EVEN WITH ALL THE TRAFFIC!!!!
